Josef Newgarden completed the perfect hat-trick for podium finishes during the MSA British Formula Ford stop at Donnington Park. He finished 2nd in Round 13, 1st in Round 14, and 2nd in Round 15. His consistency has moved him into second place in the overall points championship, trailing current leader James Cole by 17 points. Newgarden has finished inside the top-five in 86.7% of his Formula Ford races this season.The championship resumes on August 15-16, 2009 for Rounds 16, 17, and 18 at the famed Silverstone circuit.
