I received official confirmation this morning that British F3-International points leader, Daniel Ricciardo will make his World Series by Renault debut with Tech 1 Racing at Portimao. He plans to contest the remainder of the WSR season with the exception of the Nurburgring event due to a schedule conflict with his British F3 program.Ricciardo has been very impressive in British F3 this season, finishing inside the top-five in 83.3% of his 2009 race starts. The 20-year-old Australian driver should adapt to the Formula Renault 3.5 car with relative ease.
