Sort of old news by now, but Italian driver Federico Leo has signed with Pons for the 2009 World Series by Renault. He will partner Spaniard Marcos Martinez.
Leo spent 2008 in the German F3 (ATS) series, where he finished ninth in the overall championship. He finished inside the top ten in 70.5% of his ATS races. His best finish was 3rd at Hockenheim, after starting 11th.
