Draco Racing has confirmed Marco Barba's seat in the 2009 World Series by Renault. Marco is the younger brother of Alvaro Barba who ran with the team in 2007. Marco ran seventeen WSR races in 2008 under the Draco tent alongside Bertrand Baguette, who was also recently signed to contest the series again in 2009.

Draco has recently announced an alignment with F1's Force India by supporting the Force India colors on their World Series car. Draco is working on putting together it's own internal ladder system, similar to that of Andersen Racing here in the United States. Earlier this year, Draco team owner Adriano Morini announced that the team will be joining the Formula Renault 2.0 series in an effort to create a Draco Junior Team. Their goal is to help drivers progress through their junior formula programs and move into a Formula One ride. Based on their most recent press release, it seems a karting program might be in the works as well..although nothing official has been announced.
