American driver Alexander Rossi claimed his first International Formula Master win this weekend at the Automotodrom in Brno, Czech Republic. It was a historic win for the 17-year-old driver as he became the first American to win a Formula Master race. It also marked the first IFM win for his team: ISR Racing.
In addition to winning the race, Rossi also set the fastest lap of the event by over 4/10's of a second---with a lap time of 1:50.061. The win moves Rossi into fifth in the overall standings heading into the Brands Hatch event on July 18-19.
