Jonathan Scarallo and Group A Racing will be testing at Pocono Raceway tomorrow in preparation for next weekend's F2000 Championship event at Lime Rock Park.The eighteen-year-old New York resident has had a much better start to his pro racing career than his results show. In his first race at VIR, he attacked a wet track on slicks and moved into 12th place after starting back in 22nd. Unfortunately, on the following lap he made a rookie mistake and spun the car, only to stall and finish back in 21st position. In Race 2, he showed promise by passing five cars and narrowly missing a top-ten finish--he finished 11th after starting 16th. If he and Group A are able to put everything together at Lime Rock, a top-ten finish is not out of the question for this youngster.
