Team E Plans to Field Jan Heylen

According to Eric Horchy of The Suncoast News; Neil Enerson, owner of Team E, plans to field a car for Jan Heylen in the 2009 Indy Lights series.

The rumor about a Team E/Jan Heylen unification has been circulating for quite awhile now, but this is the first press release I've seen on the deal. Take what you will from the information given, but it sounds like the plans are hinging on a lot of money and clearly not much time.

Heylen has plenty of racing experience and would be a great asset to the program for 2009. That said, it would be ashame to see Bobby Wilson sitting home in 2009 after he helped put together the team last year. Team E's success in 2008, on-and-off the track, can be largely attributed to Wilson---who in case you haven't noticed---hasn't signed with anyone for 2009 (at this time). Perhaps Wilson is the reason for talk about a second car?
