Vision Racing To Field James Davison

Australian driver James Davison will pilot the Vision Racing Indy Lights entry in 2009. The 22-year-old driver spent last season in the Indy Lights series driving for Sam Schmidt Motorsports, where he claimed one victory and two podiums. Although,... the victory was a bit of a fluke (click to see video). In fairness to Davison, he ran a very solid race in the wet conditions after starting seventh.

He has plenty of open wheel experience and should do quite well in 2009 with Vision. Prior to his Indy Lights efforts, he raced in Formula BMW USA, the Atlantic Championship, and the Star Mazda series.

Hey JOWT,
Thanks for blogging about the latest team moves for drivers. I use it as a resource to keep track of who goes where for the season. It is obviously a fair bit of work keeping track of all the 'scuttle but' and silly season news, but you do a great job. Keep it up!
