British driver Stefan Wilson, who happens to be the younger brother of IndyCar driver Justin Wilson, has signed with FIRST Motorsports to contest the 2009 Indy Lights road course events. FIRST Motorsports is new to the Indy Lights series and will be aided by Walker Racing in 2009. According to the indycar.com staff, FIRST Motorsports is a division of the ASR Motorsports Group, LLC.
Wilson spent several years in the karting ranks, focusing mainly on the direct-drive ICA class...prior to his move to cars in 2006. During his first year in cars, he ran the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy with the assistance of his brother under the Justin Wilson Racing banner. The next season he ran 20 races in the Formula Palmer Audi series where he finished 2nd in the overall championship. He concluded 2007 with four wins and four podiums. Last season, he made the jump to the ultra competitive British F3 International Series-National class...where he ended the year in fourth place. During his 2008 campaign he had 4 wins, 6 podiums and 3 pole positions...driving for Fluid Motorsport Development. His teammate, Jay Bridger, won the overall championship.
This is a rather large jump for the 19-year-old, but with the assistance of Walker Racing and his brother...I'm sure he will adapt quite quickly. Should he find further funding and pass his rookie test, he plans to run select oval events as well.

Judging from the picture he looks to be about 7 feet tall, just like his bro.
Yeah they are both extremely tall for single-seater racing. Stefan is 6'2" and I believe Justin is 6'3".
