Dave Weitzenhof Commits to F2000 Championship

Dave Weitzenhof of Bath, Ohio has committed to running the 2009 F2000 Championship. Weitzenhof has quite a resume, including 7 National Championships (1-Formula Vee, 4-Formula Ford, 2-Formula Continental) with the SCCA.

Whoa, I usually expect to see news about up and coming drivers when I tune over here. Dave Weitzenhof? Not who I was expecting to see a press release for today. If he wins the championship, is he gonna start looking around for an Atlantic drive and start heading up the ladder?
