Comtec Racing announced earlier today that they have signed 19-year-old Alexandre Marsoin for the 2009 World Series by Renault. The Frenchman ran with Epsilon in the 2008 WSR, where his best finish was 6th; at both Spa and Hungaroring.
Jaime Alguersuari has signed with Carlin Motorsport for the 2009 World Series by Renault. The 18-year-old pilot won the 2008 British F3-International Championship with Carlin, so he is already quite familiar with the team. I fully expect him to be a front runner in 2009.
Oliver Turvey will join Jaime Alguersuari under the Carlin Motorsport tent again in 2009, this time in the World Series by Renault. Turvey finished second in the overall title hunt last season in British F3...narrowly missing the title obtained by Alguersuari. It will be fun watching the two battle again in 2009.
