Junior Open Wheel Talent

Jessica Brannam has signed with Stars and Stripes Motorsports for a 2009 Star Mazda campaign. The 17 year old race driver has a ton of karting experience, which will carry over nicely as she develops her race craft in a full size car. According to her website, Jessica's main goal is "to become a season champion in a major auto racing series", if she takes the necessary time to develop and brings in appropriate funding, her goal may become a reality. I would expect Star Mazda to be a a two year program for the aspiring race car champion.
