In sad news this morning, actor/race car driver Paul Newman has passed away at the age of 83 after losing his battle with lung cancer. Newman was the co-founder of Newman-Haus Racing, the team has won nearly 100 races in the Championship Auto Racing Teams(CART) and Indy Racing League (IRL) . Newman-Haus has won several championships with the likes of Nigel Mansell, Mario & Michael Andretti, Sebastian Bourdais and Cristiano de Matta. Paul was well known throughout the racing world for his own driving efforts, even racing at Le Mans in 1979. He was first introduced to racing while starring in the 1969 racing film, "Winning".
