World Series by Renault driver Pippa Mann has signed with Panther Racing to contest the 2009 Indy Lights schedule. The fact that Panther Racing has signed two British pilots in less than 10 days makes you wonder if the team has sent some scouts over to Europe this summer, or it could simply be a financial issue.... It seems that Mann isn't too worried about running out of funding as the 24 year old has run more than 109 races without a single win. Panther Racing co-owner John Barnes readily admits that "Pippa has a lot of room to grow". It will be interesting to see what kind of transition she will make in 2009, she certainly has a lot of seat time and has signed with a very solid team.
