American driver Carl Skerlong must really enjoy the layout at New Jersey Motorsports Park, as he just completed a near perfect weekend. The Pacific Coast Motorsports driver led every on-track session (that he participated in) over the weekend on the 2.177 mile circuit named Thunderbolt Raceway. He concluded the stop with his first ever Atlantic Championship win, becoming the sixth different Atlantic Championship victor in 2008.
Brooks Associates Racing driver Markus Niemela finished 2nd over the weekend, while Newman Wachs driver Jonathan Summerton claimed the third and final podium spot.
