Two First Time Winners

The Indy Lights drivers spent the weekend in Sonoma, California at Infineon Raceway. Now that the dust has settled, we had two first time victors over the weekend, with the top two championship contenders separated by a mere 3 points heading to Chicagoland Speedway..... Raphael Matos (472) and Richard Antinucci (469). The two drivers managed to finish next to each other in both events. Matos finished one spot higher than Antinucci both days, but the duo seem to have a slightly differing viewpoint in how they got to that result in today's Valley of the Moon 100.

Franck Perera led every lap enroute to his first Indy Lights victory on Saturday in the Carneros 100. Pablo Donoso took his first win of the season on Sunday, becoming the ninth different race winner in 2008.
