Junior Strous Victorious at Mont Tremblant

The Atlantic Championship made their way to the beautiful track of Le Circuit in Mont Tremblant, Quebec over the weekend. The event was the first of four Canadian stops in the Atlantic Championship as the series heads to Edmonton for their next race.

Junior Strous grabbed his first ever Atlantic pole position on a drying track Saturday in the first qualifying session. I'm guessing that his drifting expertise allowed him to handle the slick conditions quite well. Apparently Canadian Kevin Lacroix also enjoys the slippery conditions, he took pole in the second qualifying session, running on a full wet track.

Strous managed to come out on top in Sunday's race; taking his first Atlantic Championship win. This is a big win for the Dutchman, moving him into first place in the Championship hunt.
