F2000 Championship: Watkins Glen

Anders Krohn has established himself as the top championship contender in the F2000 Championship Series by winning 4 out of the first 5 races this season. Al Craighead, of Eformulacarnews, spoke to Anders following his win this afternoon at The Glen. Race 6, also at Watkins Glen, will follow tomorrow...stay tuned.

Following Ander's dominance this season, I decided to take a look at his results from every session in the first five rounds of the F2000 Championship. The Norwegian driver has finished in the top two spots in every on track session so far this season with the exception of his very first practice session at VIR (he was 4th quickest). It should be noted that this is his first year of racing in America.

Round 6 saw a slightly different result than we are used to with Anders Krohn facing a mechanical DNF. A disappointing end to a great run for Krohn who set a new track record in this morning's qualifying session. Doug Prendeville, older brother of Indy Lights Driver; Andrew Prendeville, took his first F2000 win for Anderson Racing.
