Alexander Rossi, the only American in the field, wins the Formula BMW-Americas Round 4 in Montreal. It's the first win of the season for the JOWT Top Prospect, and it couldn't have come at a better time. This weekend's event took place alongside the Formula One Canadian Grand Prix. Look for this to be the first of many victories for the young pilot in 2008.
Round 3 winner, Ricardo Favoretto had a strong run as well and was battling with Rossi for the point when the two drivers made contact heading down the back straight. Favoretto spun into the interior retaining wall, ending his weekend. Despite the DNF, "Favoretto is most likely a Favorite" among F1 fans and scouts after his performances this weekend. Today's race had a lot of attrition as only 9 out of the 16 drivers finished on the lead lap. Apex-HBR driver Mikael Grenier set the fastest time of the day, being the only driver to break into the 1:47 mark with a 1:47.579.
