Ashley Freiberg, of the Skip Barber National Series, spent last weekend in a GDT-prepared Star Mazda car at the SCCA Oak Tree Double National Race held at Virginia International Raceway. The 17-year-old Illinois resident was using the event to garner additional seat-time in preparation for this weekend's Skip Barber National race at VIR.The experience turned out to be a very positive one, as Ashley managed to qualify 4th and finish the race in 5th. She hopes to carry this momentum over to the Skip Barber car this weekend.
