It was announced early this year that Logan Gomez would be driving for Davey Hamilton Racing, however, earlier today it was announced that Gomez had officially signed with Alliance Motorsports for 2009.I'm not sure what happened between then and now, but either way Logan Gomez will return to the Indy Lights series for 2009.
Gomez should do quite well this year after spending the last two-seasons developing his craft in the Indy Lights series. He drove for Sam Schmidt Motorsports in 2007 and Guthrie Racing in 2008. Last year, with Guthrie, Gomez finished inside the top-ten in 56.3% of his race starts. His best finish of the year was second at Infineon, after starting fourth. Gomez will be one of the few veterans remaining in the series for 2009, so the expectations will be high.

Go Logan. Watched him do well at Infineon last year. Seems like a real talent and I expect to see him do well this year.
