Joel Miller of Hesperia, California has re-signed with the Minnesota based squad; JDCMotorsports.The 20-year-old driver will be returning to the Star Mazda championship for his second season after finishing 2nd in the 2008 title hunt. In 2008, he had 1 win and 7 podiums in 12 starts, which puts him on the podium in 58.3% of his race starts. Last season, Joel began to really shine as the season wore on... his average finish in the first half of the season was 8.3, his average finish in the second half of the season was 3. This should be a really solid year for Miller and the JDC squad.
John Church has put together a real solid line-up for 2009 with Alex Ardoin, Caio Lara, and Joel Miller.
