Jonathan Scarallo announced today that he will contest the 2009 F2000 Championship, driving for his father's team; Group A Racing. The 17-year-old driver spent the last two seasons running in the Bertil Roos F2000 Championship, where he posted some very solid results.In his rookie season (2007), he was awarded series' Rookie of the Year after claiming four wins. He finished on the podium in 50% of his rookie starts. Last season (2008), he further developed his reputation in the series by winning 50% of his races, while finding the podium in 93.7% of his race starts.
