Giancarlo Vilarinho has re-signed with Eurointernational for the 2009 Formula BMW-Americas series. He spent 2008 in the Formula BMW Americas series, while making select stops in the Formula BMW-Europe series for additional seat-time.
In Formula BMW-Americas, he stood on the podium four times. His best finish was 2nd, which occurred twice...once at Montreal and once at the New Jersey Motorsports Park. He ran fairly consistent all season long, only logging one DNF. He finished inside the top ten in 93% of his 2008 Formula BMW-Americas starts. He will partner Wilson Philippe under the Eurointernational tent this season.
