2006 Formula Ford 2000 Champion and current Indy Lights driver; J.R. Hildebrand has returned to the Atlantic Championship this weekend driving for Genoa Racing in Braselton, Georgia. Hildebrand spent 2008 driving for Anderson Racing in the Indy Lights series, finishing fifth in the overall drivers championship.
Returning to his Alma Mater series this weekend, the 20 year old American is returning to the Atlantic Championship where he finished 7th in 2007 driving for Newman-Wachs Racing. Hildebrand is most likely using the weekend as an opportunity to gain some additional seat time as he prepares for his 2009 program.
