F2000 Championship Finale: NJMP

The F2000 Championship concluded it's 2008 season over the weekend on Thunderbolt Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Anders Krohn proved to be the rightful owner of the coveted F2000 Championship Title by winning both days (Rounds 13 & 14). Heading into the final race weekend, three drivers were battling for the 2nd spot in the championship: JDC Motorsport's Chris Miller, Anderson Racing's Jonny Baker, and Brian Graham Racing's Kyle Marcelli. Miller had a tough weekend and finished outside of the top ten for the first time all season in Round 14. It was a bitter ending for the young pilot who has done so well in his inaugural season of car racing. Jonny Baker and Kyle Marcelli on the other hand did exactly what they needed to do; finish in the top three both days. Marcelli led Baker across the stripe in Round 13 while Baker returned the favor and led Marcelli across the stripe in Round 14. The duo trailed Anderson Racing hotshoe and series champion Anders Krohn both days.
