Peter Dempsey Has Found His Stride

Irishman Peter Dempsey won his second consecutive race over the weekend at Trois-Rivieres driving for Anderson Racing. John Edwards crossed the stripe in second driving for AIM Autosport and Alex Ardoin rounded out the top three driving for Mundhill Racing.

We all knew it was only a matter of time before the two-time Walter Hayes victor would find his stride in Star Mazda. The 22 year old has done just that by completing a perfect weekend north of the border. He set a new track record in qualifying and set the fastest lap of the race on Sunday, leading the field from flag to flag.

Worthy of honorable mention is Anderson Racing pilot Charles Hall, who advanced seven spots in Sunday's race. Hall was quickest in the first practice session at Trois-Rivieres only to lose the car in the second session, creating a sub par qualifying effort as they chased the set-up after making the necessary repairs.
