Andrew Prendeville Ends Season in Indy Lights

Andrew Prendeville has decided to end his Indy Lights program, with four races remaining in the championship. He currently sits in 10th place overall in the 2008 championship with 12 starts under his belt, 129 points behind championship leader Richard Antinucci. At this point in time, Prendeville has only stated that he will pursue other opportunities. Check back for future updates....

Daniel Herrington will replace Andrew under the RLR/Anderson Racing tent. Herrington has made four starts this season, finishing inside the top ten once. Herrington's lack of oval experience will require him to pass his rookie test at Kentucky Speedway on Thursday. Despite not making a start on an oval track in his nine Indy Lights/Indy Pro Series starts, the North Carolina resident has some oval experience thanks to his 2006 season in Star Mazda. He should be able to use that to his advantage while testing in Kentucky.
