Ana Beatriz of Brazil became the first woman in history to win an Indy Lights race. The Brazilian driver was formerly known as Bia Figueiredo before coming to the United States to drive for Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Ana has been extremely impressive every time I've watched her drive. Her consistency this season has really payed off as she moves into third place in the Championship hunt. Speaking of consistency, she has actually finished in the top 5 in 70% of her races in 2008. Bobby Wilson had a nice run to finish 2nd, only a mere 1.2392 seconds off Beatriz at the stripe. Wilson advanced six spots to claim the runner up position on the podium. Arie Luyendyk Jr. rounded out the top three taking the final podium spot. Once again showing his speed by setting the fastest lap of the race.
